Khaled Hosseini's second novel A Thousand Splendid Suns goes on sale today. I have such a back log of books at home right now and several more on the way from the library, but this one I must read. His first novel, The Kite Runner, was spectacular and one of those novels I just had to recommend to people even though I could not do the novel justice in describing it. Now his second novel has just been published. Can't wait to read it!
