My drive is only 20 minutes and I enjoy the morning show on the ride in (and sports talk on the ride home...it's what helps me keep up with guy type sports conversations)Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16094675116398769415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354250.post-52301512630164002352008-05-06T07:45:00.000-05:002008-05-06T07:45:00.000-05:00I don't know how much time you spend in the car or...I don't know how much time you spend in the car or if you even like audiobooks, but I listened to Yiddish Policemen's Union while driving and was absolutely spellbound for 95% of it. There were a few stretches, however, where I probably would have put the print version down for awhile.Andy Wolvertonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04438784281825774486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354250.post-63630421150834934022008-05-04T17:24:00.000-05:002008-05-04T17:24:00.000-05:00Had the same thing in mind as Pierre and the anony...Had the same thing in mind as Pierre and the anonymous guy...I always try to convince myself that the book has merit, a large following and plethora of awards to back it up...but if the book does not work for me now it won't work for me later...ThRiNiDiRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11235487104345529619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354250.post-89719768728189898672008-05-02T18:05:00.000-05:002008-05-02T18:05:00.000-05:00That's good to know. I didn't love Kavalier and Clay, but I do prefer Wonder Boys.

Halting State, on the other hand, I'm done with. Just because it’s up for a thousand awards, does not mean you need to like it. I LOVED Chabon’s Kavalier and Clay but I’m not sure if I see myself reading anything else by him unless it’s faster-paced.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354250.post-26999714732420254382008-05-01T07:59:00.000-05:002008-05-01T07:59:00.000-05:00LOL man!
